1. What makes Annata special?
Annata offers a curated selection of mature wines that are already showing beautiful development and are ready to enjoy now. Our focus is on quality, maturity, and character – for those who prefer to savor wine rather than age it.
2. Are the wines really ready to drink?
Yes, our wines have already reached a good level of maturity and are now a pleasure to drink. They have been stored under ideal conditions and shipped with care. Many of our wines also offer further ageing potential - for moments of pleasure in the future.
3. Where do the wines come from?
Our wines come from specialized wine auctions and a reliable network from the wine world – with guaranteed traceable origin and professional storage.
4. How are the wines selected?
Our wines reflect our personal taste in wine, which has developed over the years, through travel, continuing education, and interaction with sommeliers and winemakers. We are always on the lookout for special wines—those that aren't widely known and those that are often difficult to obtain.
5. How is shipping done?
We prefer to ship with DHL and use certified wine boxes for safe and secure transport.
6. Do you also sell to business customers?
Yes, but we are a small, self-financed startup focused on private customers. Commercial customers can also order from us, but as a small business, we do not charge sales tax according to Section 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG).
7. What happens if a wine is faulty or corked?
Our wines come from auctions, collections and private storage. They are natural products and often unique. We are therefore unfortunately unable to offer returns or exchanges. Should you nevertheless have a problem with a bottle, please write to us - we will examine each case individually and endeavor to find a fair solution.
