Cavallotto – Barolo Bricco Boschis 2012 is a classic, profound Barolo from the historic monopoly vineyard Bricco Boschis in Castiglione Falletto. The Cavallotto family farms this vineyard organically, producing a characterful wine with structure, elegance, and great aging potential.
The 2012 vintage displays ripe aromas of dark cherries, dried roses, tar, undergrowth, and a hint of licorice. On the palate, the wine is firm and balanced, with lively acidity, fine tannins, and a long, spicy-mineral finish. The wine is aged in traditional methods over several years in large Slavonian oak barrels—without filtration or fining.
Ideal for lovers of classically vinified Baroli with provenance, depth, and mature nobility. Perfectly ripe now, with potential until at least 2030+.
