Franck Balthazar – Côtes du Rhône 2021 is a characterful Syrah from young vines north of Cornas – vinified by traditional Rhône master Franck Balthazar. Like his great crus, the wine is spontaneously fermented and aged in used oak barrels – natural, unfiltered, and uncompromisingly artisanal.

The 2021 vintage brings a cool, precise style with aromas of dark berries, pepper, violets, herbs, and wet stone. On the palate, the wine is clear and fresh, with fine tannins, a lean body, and a mineral finish. A Nordic Côtes du Rhône with excitement, not a fruit bomb—rather, a small Cornas with easy drinking.

Ideal for lovers of puristic, terroir-influenced Syrah with freshness, clarity, and everyday usability. Perfectly ripe now, ideal until at least 2026+.
