Massolino – Barolo Margheria 2013 is a classic single-vineyard Barolo from the renowned Margheria cru in Serralunga d'Alba. The south-facing vineyard site on calcareous marl produces powerful, long-lasting wines with subtle spice and depth. Vinification follows a traditional method: long maceration, aging in large wooden barrels, and ample time in the bottle.
The 2013 vintage is considered exceptionally structured and long-lasting. On the nose, the wine displays notes of ripe cherry, rose petals, tar, leather, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is concentrated, with grippy tannins, lively acidity, and a long, mineral finish. A Barolo with character and plenty of potential.
Ideal for lovers of classic, structured Barolo with depth, provenance, and aging potential. Now accessible with aeration, ideal until at least 2040+.
